We want to welcome you to our website.
TBC seeks to provide multi-faceted ministries that minister to the needs of people of all races, nationalities, and ages. We believe people consist of a three part being that has a spirit, soul (mind, will & emotions), and body. (reference 1Thessalonians.5:23) Discipleship in these three areas help us to be over-comers.
TBC is a ministry that believes in the God-given, pre-ordained potential in every person. Apostle Greg and Pastor Donna Van Gorp and their family have been committed to helping people discover and develop their potential to the fullest. They are dedicated to raising up an army of saints that reveal the kingdom of God, manifest the glory of God and model the life of God in their daily purpose and walk. Since the passing of Apostle Greg on May 17th, 2022 we as a family are continuing the legacy that he and his wife have built since October 31, 2000.
The Van Gorp's believe that every child of God is called to personal greatness and, as believers grow in their personal walk with God, this greatness grows to its full potential. Therefore, we are motivated to teach revelatory insights and Biblical interpretations that unlock hidden truths in the Word of God.
We quote Apostle Greg as saying;
“The measure of a person is the measure of the 'Word of God' which abides in their heart. And a good theology is paramount to a good psychology. Recognizing that clothes do not make a man, right thinking makes a man.”
TBC provides an atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come into the body of Christ and freely worship God and in His presence and be transformed from glory to glory!
Our greatest desire is for people to receive the burning fire of the Holy Spirit and to go out loving, with the love of Christ, transforming lives as they go.
Apostle Greg would say that we must be the salt and light of the earth to those around us; imparting into lives, communities, and by doing this the nations will be transformed for our Lord!
We invite you to come grow with us!
Apostle Greg Van Gorp graduated from World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio in May 1998. Then after graduation, and while visiting South Carolina; friends in Savannah, Georgia asked them to come to Savannah and visit also. As they were coming over the Talmadge Memorial Bridge, the Holy Spirit spoke to the Van Gorp's saying, “I am calling you to a people you do not know, trapped in the bondage of a slave mentality.” He also heard the Lord say, “I am calling you to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children so the hearts of the children will turn to the Father.”
Upon their return to Columbus, and full of excitement about what the Holy Spirit had revealed to them, the Lord opened the door for the Van Gorp's to begin a television ministry called, “It’s Harvest Time” and was broadcasting soon on Savannah’s local access channel 17. Eighteen months later on September 27, 1999 the VanGorp family moved to Savannah. In October 2000, Victory Harvest Ministries of Savannah, Inc., VHMOS was born. Victory Harvest Ministries was an outreach ministry to the downtown and project- areas of Savannah.
In May 2006 the ministry moved to Pooler, Georgia and initially met in a hotel until they were able to find a building. After prayer and fasting, in December 2007, Harvest Time Church was born at 409 West Highway 80, Pooler, and Georgia. Harvesting souls with a mission and save the lost at any cost.
In October 2010, on the church’s ten year anniversary, God gave a great gift to the church body land to build their own church building for God’s tabernacle. Again, it was with much prayer and fasting that God released this gift to the ministry. God gave a promise to the church through 1 Chronicles 17:9-10… “I foretell to you, the LORD WILL BUILD you a house.” Today, Victory Harvest Ministries of Savannah, Inc.is Doing Business As (D.B.A.)The Bridge Church seeking to provide a multi-faceted ministry that ministers to the needs of people of all races, colors, gender, nationalities, ages, occupations and vocations, whether that be spiritually, emotionally or socially.
~The legacy that this mighty man of God built continues.~

It was prophesied to me at the age of 18 that I would go to Bible College. My response was like Sara’s in the Bible, I laughed. However, at the age of 30 with 3 children ages 6years, 5years, and 9 months, and one unknown yet on the way I was college bound. I was blessed to be in World Harvest Bible College, today called Valor Christian College, along with my husband Greg Van Gorp.
After graduating in 1998, from World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio my husband and I began to seek God for direction. We received our Licensing to preach from Dr. Lester Sumrall and met a man there that asked us to preach on his local T.V. public access channel in Cincinnati, Oh. Later, we saw how God used this obedience to open a door in Savannah, GA with local cable TV.
Also in 1998, we decided to make a visit to some friends in Charleston, SC and then Savannah, GA. Upon arriving in Savannah we felt the presence of God consume our car. My Husband began to prophecy. He gave what we learned later, a total description of the leading spirit over Savannah and what we were to do. We knew God had answered our prayers for a location to start a ministry.
In our excitement, we put our house up for sale with a realtor and started packing. Nothing happened. We took it off the market and raised the price $10,000 and decided to sell it ourselves. As we continued to fast and pray, the days turned into a year. I remember our kids saying “are we moving to Georgia mom?” By faith I would answer “yes.”
The obedience to a prophetic word of a ten dollar seed at ten o’clock, made the difference. God spoke to my spirit one day saying, ‘There will be an elderly couple that will come up your driveway unannounced, (unexpected) that will buy your house with a cash deal.” This gave hope but I never spoke it to my husband. Weariness set in until one Sunday night at World Harvest Church, Pastor Rod Parsley gave a prophecy to give a “$10.00 dollar seed at 10:00 o’clock” and that it will bring you in 3 days the promised breakthrough that you've forgotten about because of your long wait. Three days later an elderly couple knocked on my door and bought my house cash deal.
We arrived in Savannah, September 27, 1999, Seventeen months after our 1st visit. God is faithful. He responds to faith. We started ministering on the streets of downtown Savannah to anyone who we came upon. Our Ministry was incorporated in October 2000, our first service held in an office store front in December 2000. God saw a no quitting' sense in my husband and a determination to work construction by day and church meetings by night. On our church's tenth year anniversary God gave us a miracle with an ability to have fourteen acres and build a New Church House.
I Chronicles 17:9, 10. Today, The Bridge Church is where I enjoy pastoring the sheep God has given me and raising them up to be giant slayers.

Elders serve as the spiritual under-shepherds that assist the Shepherd or Shepherdess of the church. They persist in sound teaching, prayer, and shepherding the people according to Titus1:5-9; 1Tim. 3:1-7; Heb.13:17.
The Bridge Church is thankful for two men, Dr. John H. Love dedicated as one of our Elders and also Jared L. Sparks as another Elder.
The word Deacon comes from the Greek word "diakonos" and the meaning is "servant" . A Deacon is not assigned to one gender. The Apostle Paul teaches women can serve as deacons because the Gk word "gyne" can mean either " wife or woman". We see this in 1Tim.3:11, even though it has many interpretations regarding "their wives" TBC agree that scripture allows for women deacons without threatening disobedience to the commands of 1Tim. 2:11-12 & 1Cor.14:33-35.Since a servant's heart is a quality; along with the biblical qualifications for both elder & deacon which are stated in Acts 6:2,4 & 1Tim.3:8-13. An Elder is called to teach & must not be a new convert. Following scripture of
1 Tim.3:2-6,and the deacons primary responsibility is to look after the practical needs of the church body. Many people serve already in this deacon compactivity but just don't have a title.
We welcome aboard (left to Right) Deaconess Victoria M. Neff, Deaconess Rose Allen, (beside Pastor D.),& Deaconess Alivia M. Sparks
We welcome aboard Deaconess Dianne W. Gay
We welcome aboard Prayer Warriors, Val Carter, Ann Holland, & Wayne Nickerson.
These are those who know how to serve in any area in the church but understands the power on their knees standing on the Holy Word of God.
